Yesterday was Christmas and it was wonderful! I had saved up all year and last year for this year! Everyone got just what they wanted. My sisters got Tygirlz and Wekinz etc. from me, each. Parker got candy, silly string and a dog statue.
A few things I got:
The latest iPod touch, with camera and Skype, Facebook, Netflix etc., jeans, shirts, make-up, make-up carrier, Itunes gift cards, Starbucks gift cards etc. etc. etc. etc.
I gotta say, it was an awsome Christmas!
But most of all, I loved knowing that when I die, I will go to heaven. But to think that all over the world, people are celebraiting Christmas, but it's all about Santa and the presents. Not Jesus. Another down fall is people all over the world don't even know about God, much less Christmas.
Keep the Christ in Christmas!!!!!!
I made this blog so I could get publicity for my novels, which I hope to have published. This blog also includes some of my daily adventures. My name is Savannah L (L to cover up my secret last name. HAHAHA! Sorry stalkers!!!).
This Blog
This is my blog about my daily adventures in writing and reading. Please do not copy any ideas of any of my novels. Feel free to foward this to any one!

Christmas
Okay, Christmas is now 4 days away! And I am not in the spirit. Why? Cuz yesterday it was 85 degrees! IT WAS HOT! And it's supposed to snow. But of course, in Texas, it doesn't snow.
Anyways, our Christmas tree's bottom is full with presents and all the kids can't wait to open them. I can though, I just can't wait for my family to open the presents I got them.
The kids can't wait for Santa to come and give them more presents!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!

One More Butterfly
'One More Butterfly' is a novel that just sprang to my mind, so here I am, typing it onto my blog. I like this one so much, I think it will be the next one I do!
Emily Jackson is a nine-year-old redhead. Well, she was a redhead. Cancer took away the gift of brushing or braiding her hair. She loves butterflies-a lot- in fact, she raises them. Then lets them free.
Derek Lingford is a neighbor of the Jacksons. He's the town drunk, married to a good wife and well, he hates life like Esther, his daughter. His daughter is thirteen and lives a bad life. She constantly has to do everything. She doesn't even want to live anymore! Derek isn't a good husband or father and he wastes all the money that his wife and daughter earns. But when Emily Jackson stops coming outside to play, he wonders what happend to her.
When the horrid news comes to him, he starts to send the little girl flowers and cards. She writes back to him. Then he decides to visit her. As lifes change, God works his way into many people's hearts. But when Emily Jackson comes to live back at home, instead of the Cooks Childrens Center.
She keeps raising butterflies. But one day, she tells Derek something that he doesn't under stand at the time. "There's only one more butterfly" she whispers not exactly to him, but to the cacoon in the net house. "Then get more" he suggests. She smiles sadly at him, and she just shakes her head.
From that day on, lives changed forever. Nothing will be the same. Hearts will change. "Never ever will things be the same" whispers Emily, smiling.
Will Derek and Esther let God into their hearts? Or will they stay in the same sad life?

Wishes
Wishes is a novel that I am so excited to write (what's new!).
Kathrine Smith is a sassy fourteen (almot fifteen!)-year-old girl. She lives by the saying "act like there's no tommorow". But when her mother dies, she finds out how hard life is and wishes with all her might that God would send her mother back.
With her mother dead, she and her brother are now an orphanes. Her father died when she was five and she and her brother are now sent to her Aunt and Uncle's house. She used to dream about a big house and lots of money like her Aunt and Uncle had. But now that she has it, she doesn't want it.
She wants her mommy and daddy. God does not seem real, and she wants no part of Him if He is real. With her brother needing her she starts to hate herself for the person she has always been.
Will her heart mend and will she change lives when God takes her hand?

Missing
"Missing" is yet another novel I will write probably in 2012. Can't wait to write this on!
Jordan Laney is a regular sixteen-year-old girl who lives a happy life in Texas. But one day, while at a party, something awful accurs. One minute she was drinking a "soda" a man gave to her and then another minute she wakes up in van.
Kidnapped and in need of a comforting voice, she considers weather God is real or not. Will a tragic happening change her view on life and God?

Sparks of Hope
"Sparks of Hope" is a true story. It is happening right now! My friends, the Porters are adopting and I am very excited to be able to write about it! Sooner or later I will start on it, after I finish the one I am doing now!
Katia Ramvolar has lived in the orphanage #4 in Ukraine for years. She's fifteen and she will be kicked out of the orphanage when she turns sixteen. Which is soon. She fears what probably will happen; she will be thrown out onto the cold streets. She had no family or friends to turn to. But on her birthday, she is not kicked out. It is a miracle sent from God! The orphanage never does this.
Katia is thankful beyond the clouds that a family, the Porters are adopting her. But she wasn't prepared for thre news that she is moving the America. America. She has heard of it. Where the people can say what they want, believe what they want and for the most part, do what they want.
She is in utter shock when she sees the beautiful houses and shops that line America. But she is suprised at the heat of Texas, her new home. Everything is exciting to her! Riding in the car to baking cookies. She learns about God and becomes closer to him. All while making friends with her sister Hannah and their friend Savannah Lyle.

Last Chance
Last Chance is a novel that I will eventually write. I am so very blessed with all of the ideas that God provides me with! I have had this idea for a year about.
Fourteen-year-old Remy Gales is a rebel, a true rebel. Her life has always been harsh and hard. Her mother had her at a young age and Remy's father ran off. So Remy's mother has always been depressed and unhappy. She is an awful mother, she doesn't even try. Remy goes to a trashy public school across from her poor street.
Day after day Remy comes home from school to her mother having parties at the house. But one day when she comes home to another party, it takes a turn. Everyone leaves as usual around three o'clock in the morning. But the next day, Saturday, someone knocks on the door. The teen opens it and sticks her face out.
Before she knew it, she was being taken away by CPS, a child protection program. She is put into a foster home, but with her wild streak, she gets put into a home for troubled teens. She there is tought about God. But months later, she gets called into the office. Her father wants her back.

Butterflys at DC
In Washington DC, during our vacation, we went to a butterfly habitat. It was my favorite part out of every thing! I was amazed at the wonderful colors. I can just imagine God sitting on a stool, dipping his finger into a bright blue paint. Then painting the wings of a butterfly. :)
I am so excited
My parents are adopting two girls, Amber and Alexis. They are 7 and 10. I now get two sisters. We first have to foster them!

Prissy Pants
"Prissy Pants" is a book I am now working on.
Twenty-one year old Ashley Cander lives in California. She's a city girl. She has a daughter, Nichole, who is a spoiled two-year-old. Nichole's father is Ashley's ex-boyfriend, Pete Lawner. Pete and Ashley had known each other for five years. But when Ashley got pregnant, Pete Lawner took off running.
Ashley's father shipped her off to her Uncle at the age of fourteen, and her mother had died during child birth. So she lives with her Uncle, Jeb. Jeb is very rich, and he spoils Ashley and Nichole. But he has a heart attack, and he dies. He leaves Ashley everything. But Ashley Cander is forced to give up the house, becuase Jeb was in debt. So she has no other place to go. But then she finds out the most shocking secret in her life. And that secret sends her off to her father's (not the one you are thinking of) ranch in Texas.
With only mini skirt, skinny jeans, high heals and designer shirts, her wardrobe is not a ranch get up. She does not expect to find that her father doesn't run the ranch. Cody Denton runs it, along with the help of the ranch hands. He and Ashley clash. He isn't fond of Ashley, but loves her daughter, Nichole.
But when Pete Lawner starts calling Ashley, he says he wants Nichole. So Ashley is pinned in a corner with no choice. Either marry Cody Denton so he can adopt Nichole and she can keep Nichole or let Pete get her.
Will she learn to forgive? Will she learn to believe in God?
Things can't get any worse...until they do.

Prayer Request
I need everyone to pray for my Aunt, Kim. She has heart problems and right now is in the hospital (she has been there for 2 days). She is having to miss her oldest son's engagement party. So please pray for God to heal her.
And we need LOTS of prayers for the lady that run the Ukraine #4 orphanage. She is very mean and cruel, and she doesn't let the word of God be passed around to the children. She also doesn't want the chidlren (who are all 10-16 yrs.) to be adopted. Why? So she can keep the orphanage running, and that puts lots of money into her pocket. But on October 30th, there will be an election to change the person in charge. PLEASE PRAY THAT A GOOD CHRITIAN PERSON IS ELECTED AND CARES FOR THE CHILDREN!
Please pray! Thank you!

Whiteny's Attack
My cat (Whitney) is an inside-outside cat. She was attacked by an animal. One day my mom looked down and saw her face. She was loosing weight. So we took her in to the emergency vet.
An animal attacked the side of her face, causing it to get infected. She didn't eat, since it hurt. So she was loosing weight. They drained the infection and put a cone on her so she couldn't scratch it.

Family & Friends
About my Family
I have a great family. And it's big and loud. But I like it that way. I believe that family is very important in our lives. We need family to get through life. When we have a bad day, we can call up a family member and talk about it. I am glad to have them in my life. And I am glad to be in their's ;)
My brother
I have a brother who is younger then me. He's my only sibling and we get along very well. He and I are really good friends, and we get along well. Don't get me wrong, we do pick on each other like siblings do.
We know how to push each other's buttons (really well) and we can get on each other's nerves. But we are very good friends. Even if we have different talents and different ideas. He's loves math, I don't. I love writing, he doesn't. But we always get along (well, maybe not ALL the time)
Friends
I have lots of friends, and I love 'em all. Each one has a different likes and dislikes. I usually have a certain thing I do with them.
Like my friend Hannah P. She and I are major goofballs aroung each other. We go out in her front yard and sit in lawn chairs. We drink Dr.Pepper and then wait for a car to pass by. And when they do, we jump up and do the chicken dance. We sometimes get people to clap! Then we draw dresses and out fits that we would like to wear.
Then there is Sarah. The animal lover. When I go to her house, we do stuff kind of like I do with Hannah P. We play Truth Or Dare and would you rather. We dare each other to do dumb stuff, of course. I was dared to touch my tounge to her warn out slipper (it was gross). So I took revenge and made her lick the part of the slipped were she puts her feet (she did it).
There's Courtney. Her and I make braclets, ear rings, rings and necklaces together. We buy lots of beads (I have tons) and string. Then we make them. When we tie the knots, we put clear nail polish on it to hold it together. I do the same thing with my friend Molly.
Then there's Alli. She and I have been friends since we were born. She has seven siblings and her mother is pregnant again! It's different when I go over there, because I only have a brother. We mostly watch the kids and play with them. But I love it, because I love kids. Then she and I get on the computer and just goof off together.
So, I have lots of friends. I didn't put them all on there. But that's them! Thanks girls for being such good friends :)
Grand Parents
I have the world's best grand parents! On my dad's side there's Nanny and Papa. I go to their house to eat candy and watch TV (since we don't have TV at our house. Only movies). Then sometimes my Nanny and I will go shop. Then on my mom's side is Macoo and Grandpa (WHen I was a baby I was trying to say 'My Carole', but it came out Macoo) and we all (Macoo, Grandpa, my brother and I) will go to Pets Mart. Then my Macoo takes me to the library. Where I stock up on more books.
Thanks Macoo, Nanny, Papa and Grandpa for being the world's best grandparents!!!!!!

Too Much Taylor Swift
When Taylor Swift first came out I was, well, obssesed. I had posters all over my walls, framed. I had pencils with her name on them. I had folders, binders etc. of her. Then when I was doing my daily devotional is was talking about how we are putting celeberties as out idols.
Then that Sunday I was helping teach a sunday school. We were talking about idols, and how we often but celebs as our idols. We surround ourselves with them. Then it hit me. I was making Taylor Swift my idol.
So I took down the posters, except one. And I focused on other things, such as friends and school. And the best book, the Bible. So now I still have all her C.Ds and still like her a lot. But I am not idoling her.

A Safe Place
After I am done with "Barbie Doll" I am going to write a novel called "A Safe Place":
Brett lived with her fiance and their daughter, Allison Ruth. But there's a major problem. Her fiance, Aaron, is abusive. Not to their daughter, but to her. One day police arrive at her door, demanding to have her hand over Aaron. But he's at the Harley Dealership that he owns.
The police say they will come back tomorrow night. But Aaron dies from a fight. So she sells the house and his Harley Dealership. Then they pack up in the silver truck and moved to New York, "a safe place".
The she has an idea about what to do with all the money from the Harley Dealership.

Getting Through
I have written a book called "Getting Through" this year. I plan to have it published (if I am lucky enough). Here's the sneek peek:
Darcy Johnson is married to Kirk Johnson, a pastor. She leaves to visit her friend, Pam. But when she comes back to the airport, her husband isn't there. She takes a taxi home, to find he left her and betrayed.
She blames God for every thing. And strays away from him. Thinking that he doesn't care or love any one. That he's selfish.
She finds out a stunning fact that sends her packing to live with her married friends. But when she arrives there, there is another man that lives there. He threatens to work his way into her heart, as well as finding out her secret.
Will her life changing secret stay a secret? And will she let this man into her heart, and forgive God?
